Cremations at Rocks Funeral Directors

Rocks Funeral Home understand that burial is not for everyone, that is why we offer cremation as part of our funeral home services.  This option suits some people better, for religion or other reasons.  The remains can be kept after the cremation if you so wish, but otherwise can disperse them for you.

In the case of cremation, services in parishes etc can still be held as normal, but instead of the burial, the coffin is taken to the crematorium instead.  Here, what is known as a committal service takes place where the burial service should.  The family do not usually witness the cremation as we feel it increases stress and is not pleasant for them.
